Hi VideoLan, I've just downloaded your VLC Media Player (version 0.8.6d) and have tried to use it to play an Xvid file, but it doesn't seem to play it. I've tried a few things, but nothing seems to work. I used the VLC Media Player Wizard, which talks about codec and has a drop down list with DivX1 through to DivX3, etc, but does not have Xvid in the list, even though your player states that it plays Xvid. Also my Xvid file ends in.avi, is this normal? Anyway I'm really hoping you can help me with this problem. I look forward to your reply. Thanks kindly, Alicia.
