As someone who struggles everyday with mental illness, this book was like a breath of fresh air to say, its not as hopeless as you think. Sarah Edelman (PhD) has exceeded expectations, with positive quotes throughout the text as if taking a break from explanation to uplift the reader to prepare for the next part of the learning process.

But it's a replica of other cognitive behaviour textbooks I have on my shelf. In fairness to the author, I did not get to the end of the book, so my review may not be accurate. But I was so bored that I've put it aside.
